St. Lucia has a tropical climate which gives pleasant temperatures throughout the year. Cool northeasterly breezes from the Atlantic Ocean keep the temperature feeling comfortable. In the winter season the temperatures range between 18° C and 31° C, it is the driest season with occasional light showers. The summer season has temperatures between 23° C and 35° C. The rainy season starts in June and ends in November. The rainfall is mostly short, heavy showers with a rare chance of a tropical storm or hurricane.
