Planning Resources Teaching Resources Learning Resouces Assessment Resources Electronic Portfolio

This section gives you access to a range of work done by children levelled against the ICT NC level descriptors. For this purpose the work has only been levelled against ICT criteria - it may be assessed at a different level when assessed against other subject criteria.

A piece of a child's work may be assessed at Level 3 in word processing and graphics, this does not mean that their overall ICT level is Level 3 - there is a need for best fit; therefore if they are Level 2 in Data Handling, Level 2 Roamer and have had no experience of Internet use or spreadsheets....they would not overall be considered to be Level 3.

It is useful to have a level for each aspect i.e Finding things out; Developing ideas and making things happen; Exchanging and sharing information; Reviewing, modifying and evaluating work as it progresses and Breadth of study,  then an overall level can be assessed at the end of each year.

If we can help on any aspect of this work please get in touch with us. You may also find it very useful to visit the naction web site to moderate your work against a national portfolio.
