Drugs

Level 3

Pupils use ICT to save information and to find and use appropriate stored information, following straightforward lines of enquiry. They use ICT to generate, develop, organise and present their work. They share and exchange their ideas with others. They use sequences of instructions to control devices and achieve specific outcomes. They make appropriate choices when using ICT-based models or simulations to help them find things out and solve problems. They describe their use of ICT and its use outside school.

This piece of work is lovely for the age but to move forwards needs tidying a little. The table frames in white - which do not show on this reproduction of the image demonstrate clearly how some of  the images should have been resized so that the grid lines are even. There needs to be some cell padding so that the edges of the words are not lost. Also the concept of - Drug Use, Alcohol etc - Don't Do It is not a very accurate message, if taken literally may be far more damaging than doing it! There are several issues which need addressing to move this forward - this is probably more to do with the pupil's understanding of the issues though, these skills are generally sound apart from the bottom very distorted graphic that is!.
