These children created a fact sheet to illustrate information about life in Britain during 1930. They have used images and text from the internet and acknowledged their source.
Level
3
Pupils use ICT to save information and to find and use appropriate stored information, following straightforward lines of enquiry. They use ICT to generate, develop, organise and present their work. They share and exchange their ideas with others. They use sequences of instructions to control devices and achieve specific outcomes. They make appropriate choices when using ICT-based models or simulations to help them find things out and solve problems. They describe their use of ICT and its use outside school.
(this was completed by two pupils)
Next Steps
To move this work towards a level 4, the pupils need to consider the layout
and purpose of their piece of work. They need to look at other fact sheets on
various topics and compare the layout with theirs. They would need to ask themselves
whether their names should be more eye-catching than the title.
They would need to ensure that they have consistency in font on their fact
sheet and that they are able to use this to display answers to questions related
to their topic.
