Pupils use ICT to save information and to find and use appropriate stored information, following straightforward lines of enquiry. They use ICT to generate, develop, organise and present their work. They share and exchange their ideas with others. They use sequences of instructions to control devices and achieve specific outcomes. They make appropriate choices when using ICT-based models or simulations to help them find things out and solve problems. They describe their use of ICT and its use outside school.

Next Steps
This book cover may have been improved by the use of the pupil's own picture as the cover image.  The spine title could do with being aligned into a straight line with the font bold so that it stands out better, the back and front are different sizes. The novelty cat bar code - on a book about dogs would have been improved by being a dog but the price, ISBN number and web address all add to the effect. The pupil may have experimented with using different colours on the back cover, the text would be easier to read if it were in a lighter, contrasting font colour.
