As part of a geography project, these children created a fact file to show information about various aspects of Hong Kong

Pupils use ICT to save information and to find and use appropriate stored information, following straightforward lines of enquiry. They use ICT to generate, develop, organise and present their work. They share and exchange their ideas with others. They use sequences of instructions to control devices and achieve specific outcomes. They make appropriate choices when using ICT-based models or simulations to help them find things out and solve problems. They describe their use of ICT and its use outside school.

Next Steps
To move this work towards level 4 the pupils need to ensure that their work
meets its intended audience. The layout may need revising to allow for more
images, which would mean removing the column formatting which is associated
with newspaper reports. The font size should also be consistent throughout their
work.
The content needs adding to e.g. under the Interesting Facts how could the pupils
add to this to make this more interesting for the reader? The pupils also need
to acknowledge the source of any images they use from the Internet.
