Michel shut his eyes, hoping for safety. Suddenly he felt movement around his frozen body. Michel had a glimpse of white it was Stella! He tried as hard as he could to get, to her. Michel reached for the soggy body. He missed! Michel swam a little further, he got it. He hung on for his life. Michel takes a deep breath of relief, he pulls the rest of his heavy body.
All night Michel tries to nod off, but it’s too bumpy.
Eventually he gets to sleep.
In the morning he opened his eyes, Michel puts his hand out for Stella “she’s not there.” he shouted. Michael looks around … “LAND!” he yells. “Hard dry land YES!”
Michel calls for Stella. Stella comes with a old rotten stick in her mouth. A idea just came to his head “fire, smoke signals!” He shouted looking at his wet dog, “come on lets get some fire wood. He sets off, suddenly Michel hears a big “SPLAT!” he looks down it’s a basket, of fruit! Michel & Stella start eating the fresh fruit.
Michel gets quick thought, “WE ARE NOT ALONE,” HE SAYS
He shouted out “who ever you are come out now, even if you’re a … Cheater.
Suddenly there’s a big rustle in the bushes… Then a huge Cheater came out!
Michel opened his mouth with shock, “OH MY GOD!” HE YELLED
After the cheater had came out, a brown old skinny man came out. “Hello” he said in a funny voice, “Don’t mind my friend here, he won’t hurt you” Then Michel’s heart started to slow down.
Then he went up to the man & said “Friend or foe? Which?” “Friend I’m Kensuke & this is my beautiful kingdom” Then Michel replied “hello I’m Michel”
Then he shook his bony hand. “So is this your pet?” said Michel. “Yes” Said Kensuke.
“So do you want to go home eh?”
“Yes, of course!” Replied Michel
“Do you live here alone? “ asked Michel
“ Well I’ve been waiting for a partner”
“What do you mean?” said Michel
“To sail back with of course” Replied Kensuke. Then Kensuke added “Lets build a boat”

“I’m so happy your back Home !” said mum.
Michel landed safely back at home and Kensuke started to live with him.
