We used Google to find some pictures for our transport topic. We typed in Mini car for one search and Morris Minor for the other search. We learned how to look for images instead of web pages with mainly writing.
We wanted to find pictures of a Morris Minor and a Mini.

This is my Mini - I wanted a sideways image to paint for a parade.

This is my Morris Minor my teacher said some of them were called Woody - because they had wood on them.

Pupils
use ICT to save information and to find and use appropriate stored information,
following straightforward lines of enquiry. They use ICT to generate,
develop,
organise and present their work. They share and exchange their ideas with others.
They use sequences of instructions to control devices and achieve specific
outcomes. They make appropriate choices when using ICT-based models or simulations
to help them find things out and solve problems. They describe their use of
ICT and its use outside school.

Next Steps
Find the sidways version - to paint for the parade. Find one with the wood on so that he can see what the teacher meant. See if he can find a little information to add in writing to these images.
