As a suite of qualifications, DiDA offers progression from the Award (AiDA), which is equivalent to one GCSE, to the Certificate (CiDA), and on to the full Diploma (DiDA), equivalent to four GCSE's. The first of the four units is being piloted now and the resources will soon be made available. Unit 1 is Using ICT; Unit 2 concentrates on Multimedia, Unit 3 is all about Graphics and Unit 4 is ICT in Enterprise.

Resources are available from a range of suppliers

The NWLG DiDA project aims to create an extensive, stimulating and high quality resource to deliver the four units of DiDA to be delivered free of charge to all secondary schools in the UK. These resource will be made available to all schools via the National Regional Broadband Consortia networks and independent LEAs: http://dida.nwlg.org/.
