A suite of five programs building keyboard familiarity: Instruction Keys Using the correct fingers, find the letters on your keyboard. Falling Letters Press the correct letter as fast as you can before they build up too high. Falling Words This looks very like Tetris, the words build up if you cannot type them before they get to the bottom of the screen. Typing Practice How fast can pupils type? They are given an on-screen paragraph which they have to type as quickly and accurately as possible. 2Pop Pop the bubble letters before they float off into space. Dictation Read a sentence at a time on the press of the space bar. On this program the teacher can choose to have the text showing or hidden. There are also videos to help pupils develop good posture, hand positions and work in a safe environment. |
