An interactive investigation of a 19^th century etching of a Victorian market place. Pupils click the image on the screen and are asked questions, given tasks or further investigation to carry out. Pupils are referred to copies of original source materials included in the pack such as census returns, trade directories, newspapers, etc.

There are several titles (or ‘Libraries’) in each subject area, catering for pupils of age 7-18 years.
The software allows the user to engage interactively using role-play, typically by providing sets of characters, backgrounds, props, sound effects and text files from which to choose. User input is possible in the form of text and voice recordings, making the end ‘product’ unique. This develops contextual understanding, interpretation and creative expression.  Kar2ouche composer must be purchased for other titles to run from.  Titles are Ancient Greece, Romans, Egyptians, Tudors, Victorians, Vikings, Normans and WW1

Textease Timeline KS1, 2

Textease Timeline allows children to create a timeline for any subject. This has an obvious place in history lessons to improve chronological understanding and to place events, people and changes into correct periods of time but can also be used in literacy to show how a story develops, or in science to illustrate growth and development.  Children can research a topic, create the events in the timeline, add additional information to the events, add pictures, alter the visual effects of the events and present the timeline as a slideshow or a table.
