Birmingham Grid for Learning - Early Years Activity Centre: a collection of educational activities for the young.

Little Kids - The BBC site for young children, lots of colouring games and fun linked to CBBC
The Snaith School Web site- This is a primary school web site full of resources for younger children. The Tales of Europe, Snayfwickby Farm, Rainbow's Edge and seaside links are particularly useful.

Count us in - Games designed to help children understand basic number concepts. Early years maths games, some better than others and a little small for children with poor mouse control, could be good on an IWB
ABC
The Playground, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's site for children and their carers.
The Playground has been designed to provide easy access to information about your favourite ABC Kids characters, TV programs and online games. There are even activities that you can do away from the computer too.
Father Christmas - visit the North Pole and Santa's workshop
Ladybird Fun and games
Cbeebies  The CBeebies website has a wide range of activities for pre-school, foundation and key stage one pupils.  Most of the activities are based around the TV characters; using these to develop stories, games and other activities.

Infant Explorer -
Meet Sebastian Swan, read his big books, join his literacy activities.
Storybooks online -
Animated story books for all primary aged children.
Nursery Rhymes - Rebus Rhymes is designed for children who are learning how to read. Foundation Stage pupils enjoy picking out the words they can read in their favourite nursery rhymes. There is a lot more at this web site.
