World Book Day Competition 2006

Text Box:  Steph Lennon, Primary Consultant, introduces the winners in the 2006 World Book Day Competition held earlier this year

Another successful competition to celebrate World Book day has just finished and the entries yet again were of a very high standard. The judges had over 350 entries to scour until they could decide on the final winners, which was a very demanding task.

This year the ICT team were impressed with the increased number of schools that had taken part and were really encouraged that pupils were using their OCN e-mail addresses to send in their book covers.

The winning designs have been professionally printed by Presto Print and are displayed on the ICT website at http://www.ict.oxon-lea.gov.uk/wbday.html.

The winning pupil’s school will receive a prize of their choice, either a Logitech webcam or a Gyration portable keyboard and mouse.

Congratulations to all those schools that did enter the competition this year.
